Rationality is the coming to conclusion based on prior principles through the process of conscious thought. Rationality is actually going through th e motions of thinkingif all dogs are mammals, and Brian is a dog, then Brian is a mammal. Regardless of if your conclusion is correct, it is reasoning from first principles. ​
